A Pandemic Audio Time Capsule

The Quarantine Hotline is an ongoing audio project created by Vuk Dragojevic in March 2020, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Part art-project, part ethnographic survey, the hotline is an attempt to document the collective experience of living through a global health crisis.

At a time when physical proximity isnt always possible, the hotline provides an outlet for callers to speak about personal experiences or observations, whether serious, funny, creative or mundane.

Share your thoughts and observations about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Have a story to tell? Itching to get something off your chest?

Share something you learned or ask a question.

What’s on your mind?

Anything goes.

Call and leave a voicemail. The line is free, anonymous, and open 24/7.

Don’t wanna call? You can also email an audio recording.

Have you been vaccinated?  Feeling relieved?  Are you a healthcare worker?  Have you lost anyone to the virus?  Have you developed new habits or rituals during quarantine?  What do you miss?  Who do you miss?  What are you looking forward to?  Have you broken any rules?  As things reopen, what are some firsts?  First haircut?  First drink?  First hug?  Kiss?
